Don’t Keep Maggie Waiting 

Mack had no idea that 

Maggie was waiting with Jake,

to see which one she would 

root for. She had once

loved them both, and now 

with Jake carrying 

two 38 slugs that Mack 

had fired into him, 

Maggie wasn’t sure just who 

she would choose to win. 

Each choice was likely 

fraught with dangerous 

outcomes. 

Maggie waited, 

Mack finished his Schlitz, 

came out of the bar, 

and looked down the street.

Both Jake and now Maggie, 

were ready for the surprise 

that awaited Mack.
