Guan Yin Watches Over 

Since I first became aware of Guan Yin,

Chinese Bodhisattva of compassion, 

She has blessed us both from altar

to also now watching over us, 

above our philodendron, 

which now climbs as a circle 

in an upward flow. 

Every now and then, 

out of pure benevolence, 

She guides us by the

hand in a return to 

Fragrant Mountain, 

where we each are 

blessed to sit 

at Her feet,

as we settle 

into a deep 

state of 

grace.
